Website tasks in Ballpark allow you to send participants to any live URL to complete a task such as your marketing site, web application or even competitor sites.

  • Task Completion Assessment: Evaluate how effectively users can accomplish specific tasks on your website, such as making a purchase or finding information. Example: "You want to buy a red shoes for an upcoming event. Please navigate through the website and complete the purchase."

  • Navigation Path Analysis: Test the intuitiveness of your website's navigation by asking participants to find a particular item or section. Example: "Locate the 'Contact Us' page and find the customer support phone number.

  • Registration Process Evaluation: Evaluate the ease of the registration or signup process on your website. Example: "Sign up for a new account on our platform, providing the required information and verifying your email address."

  • Error Handling Analysis: Evaluate how users react to and navigate through error messages or unexpected issues. Example: "Try to submit a form with incomplete information and follow the prompts to resolve the error."

How to use

Add the website task to your survey or test in just a few steps

  1. Go to your project

  2. Select the Build tab

  3. Click Add new step

  4. Click Website task

  5. Enter your question and description

  6. Click on the right-hand side to add your design or drag one in

You can then use the survey questions to ask follow-up questions
